TRIBAL MINISTRY

New Hope Winston NC is a church built on a foundation of peace, unity, and love. We believe that by working together, we can create a world that is more compassionate, just, and equitable. Our church welcomes people of all faiths and backgrounds, providing a space to learn from one another and grow spiritually. Join us in worship, fellowship, and outreach as we strive to make a positive difference in our community and beyond.

To achieve our aim, we organize our church in tribes that we call Tribal ministry.

Group Meeting

Our Goal for Tribal Ministry at New Hope Winston NC

To grow larger in worship but smaller in fellowship.  A healthy church is a body of people who know each other well.  A great example is the world.  The growth of our church is not based on great worship but on great fellowship.  The “world” organizes everything in small groups (i.e., sports, businesses, clubs, etc.). The children of the world are wiser than the children of light, says Jesus

Our Purpose

The purpose of Tribal ministry is to help members forge deeper connections with others in the congregation,  to be with people who want to talk about things that matter to them, to share ideas and insights by participating in the ministry of the church, and use their spiritual gifts and talents to grow themselves and ultimately edify the church.

The intent of Tribal ministry is to help members to stop going to church and to start being the church.  Without a group of friends that share common goals,, it is easy to get discouraged in life and in your relationship with God. No matter where you may be in your faith journey, having close relationships with others improves it

Existing members and newcomers that join a tribal group allow them to get to know a circle of people more quickly than attending worship alone.

There are four (4) essential elements and responsibilities for New Hope’s Tribal ministry:

  • ·Church Growth

  • ·Incorporate New members into the Church

  • Improve Communications

  • Good Stewardship

Without all four of these elements operating properly, we cannot have a healthy growing church that ultimately work to expand the kingdom of God.
